Before Cheryl called us to renovate her home, her kitchen was closed off from the living room and the space was poorly lit. The living room was floor to ceiling wall paper with popcorn textured ceiling. The kitchen had a powder room that was never used and taking up valuable space for the kitchen cabinets. Cheryl had the idea to open her living space by removing the kitchen partition walls and eliminating the powder room. She wanted to install recessed high hats in the ceiling and remove all the wall paper and ceiling texture. The office, hallway and staircase were to be renovated to match. We were excited about the project and got to work right away.

We removed the partition wall dividing the kitchen and the living room. We removed the powder room and re-routed all plumbing and HVAC lines behind the walls and underneath the floor. We removed all the wall paper and popcorn texture from the ceiling and skim coated all the walls and ceilings to a very smooth finish. We installed solid bamboo hardwood floors throughout and refinished the handrails in the staircase to match. Recessed high hat lighting fixtures were installed to brighten up the entire main floor. We had our professional photographer Thanassi Karageorgiou from Nas Karas Studios to shoot this job for us.
