Before Paul called us to replace his sidewalk it was cracked and flacking in many areas which are a hazard according to New York City. Paul was in need of a new sidewalk and we were happy to do the job.

After we filed all required permits and paperwork with the NYCDOT we began to remove the existing sidewalk. We did the job in two halves so that we still allow pedestrians to use one half while working on the other. A temporary bridge platform was used for entering and exiting the store that we were working outside of. Areas were cleaned out by removing any debris, rocks and any other material that would affect the integrity of the new concrete pour. The new concrete was poured, reinforced with steel wire mesh and finished with a beautiful clean broom style finish. All necessary expansion joints and control joints were installed and now Paul has a safe and strong beautiful sidewalk.
